Makeup Look of the Day: Intense Smokey Eyes

Heyyy Makeup Lovers!!!
This morning I saw a makeup tutorial on an updated 1920s smokey eye look that I wanted to try out. I ended up just making a really dark smokey eye that didn't look anything like the one the makeup artist did in the video. The reason why I ended up making it a little too dark was because I couldn't find any of my small makeup brushes to do this look and had to use my blending brush and it was a little too big for my crease. You would think I would just stop and do a different look but I was determined to learn how to do this look. When I realize that I wasn't going to get my eyes to look like the 1920s look I just made it my own by blending it out and adding a little more shimmer to the look. Before I fixed this look up, it looked like somebody punched me in the eye. I like it but I feel like I could of done better but it is still a pretty good night out look!
I would love to explain how to do this intense smokey eye look but it’s too many step to write it all down. Like I said before if you want to know how to do this look just let me know by leaving me a comment for a makeup tutorial.

When you are trying to learn a new look and you don't get it quite right remember makeup is not like a tattoo, you can just wash it off and start over or just find ways to make it look better by blending it out or adding a new color to make it your own. That's what I love most about makeup, its soo easy to fix any mistakes you make.
What do you girls think of my mistake that I fixed up?
Have a good day or night!
Much love from your crazy makeup lover!

Makeup look of the night: Purple Cat Eyes!

Heyyyy Makeup Lovers!!!!!
Do you girls need a fun night out on the town look but don't want to see another smoky eye. As much as I love my smoky eyes, I get bored of them sometimes. I know not everyone will like purples and pinks but remember you can use whatever colors you want. Just make sure you go dark to light from the outer corner of the eye to the tear ducts.
If you girls want to know how to do this Purple Cat Eye Look then read on!

Like always apply an eye primer to your eyes and then take a white base like the NYX Jumbo Pencil and add a little to your eye lids to make your colors pop!
Take any purple eye shadow you have with an angle eye liner brush and draw a triangle shape on the outer corner of your eyes. If you can't draw very good like me then add some masking tape to sides of the outer corner of the eyes. It will act as a guideline to help you get your cat eyes.
Take the same Purple eye shadow with a flat eye shadow brush and just fill in the triangle.
Clean off the eye shadow brush you just used and take a bright pink color and add it next to the purple which should be the center of your lids.
Use the same brush and add a shimmery light pink to the inner corner of the eyes and then take another shimmery pink color that is a shade lighter and add it to the tear ducts.
Continue to the lower lash line from the tear ducts with the same shade of pink. Stop at the middle of the lower lash line and continue with the bight pink and stop when you get close to the outer edge of the lower lash line so you can add the purple eye shadow and connect it to the purple triangle to complete your cat eye shape.
I added a shimmery white to my brow bone to get a nice high light.
Of course I added cream eyeliner to my upper lash lines and waterlines. Then added tons of mascara to my top and bottom eyelashes.
I don't really remember what I used for my cheeks but I think I just added some bronzer because I already used a lot of pink on my eyes. I also just used a shear pink lip gloss for my lips. Remember when you used a lot of colors for your eyes, you want to used lighter colors on the face and lips.
That is pretty much it but I hope I didn't confuse anybody because this look was a little Hard to explain. If you need me to explain how to do this look a little better then please leave me a comment and I will try my best to explain it to you a little better or maybe I will just do a makeup tutorial.
I hope you like it anyways :)

Have a good day or night!
Much love from your crazy makeup lover.

Urban Decay Revolution Lipstick Review!!!!!

Hellllo Makeup Lovers!!!!!

I am jumping up and down in my chair as I am writing this review. You have no idea how happy I am to have a chance to try out Urban Decays new lipstick “In Anarchy” its a fun bright fuchsia color that I have been wearing a lot since I got it in my glam bag last week. I wasn't going to buy this product because I wanted to buy more than just one of the 22 shades, but they are $22.00 each! I just put a down payment on the Venue for my wedding! Its 2 years away but I’m so excited. Sooo spending $22.00 on one lipstick is kinda out of the question for me.
I know I might seem crazy saying this, but this lipstick is worth the $22.00 because all you need is one swipe of this creamy product and you get a burst of this gorgeous color that will last you through out the whole day. One swipe a day will last you a life time. Well a while not a whole life time. I only have the sample size but I know I will have this product for a while.
This is not a color stain so it will leave little lip marks all over your food and drinks. Last week I ended up having a bright pink burger, at least it was pretty!
I feel like I have the perfect lips when I wear this lipstick because not only does it "hug every curve" without any smudging onto my face or getting it on my teeth, it also gives me soft fuller lips. Once I apply it on, it stays put! That's an A in my book of beauty products. I also love the fact that when I only wear this lipstick and my CC Cream I get comments how pretty I look that day. This is the easiest look I have ever done but it gets the most comments. Go figure.
This is my second favorite lipstick! If you girls don’t know what my number one lipstick is, then you better go read more of my older post! Just kidding, kind of!

What do you girls think of Urban Decay Revolution Lipstick? Love it or hate it?
Have a good day or night!

Clinique Moisture Surge CC Cream Review!

A month ago or so I wrote a blog about the difference between BB and CC Creams, and in that post I wrote about how the Clinique CC Cream works better for me then the BB Cream. I kind of lied by accident because when I first tried out the product in the store I loved how it toned down my redness and brighten up my skin right before my eyes. It took away the dry patches off my skin and made me look dewy and fresh. It’s also great for days when I get too much sun. For example when I was out in the sun all day when I was on my vacation in Mexico I would get little burnt by the end of the day. At night for dinner time I would put the CC Cream on and the redness would go away a minute after I applied it.
The reason why I feel like it’s not working out for me because it doesn't blend to well into my skin most of the time. It just sits there. Sometimes it will dry on face while I am trying to blend it in. Last week the product dried under my eyes right when I put it on and it wasn't blending. I kept trying to blend it in but I end up just pulling the skin under my eyes and that is a no no for me. I hate products that pull at my skin! I don't know if it’s just the heat that is causing the product to sit on my skin or if it’s just the products itself. I will give this product another try once it cools down because I feel like this can be a really good product. It does want it says it just wants to hang out and be lazy on my skin.
I will write an updated review on this in the fall. I hope this help any of you girls that wanted to try this product out.
If you still don’t know what a CC Cream is then that means you didn’t read my post on the difference between BB and CC Creams. Now you must read it. hahah http://xosassycassiexo.blogspot.com/2013/07/the-difference-between-bb-and-cc-creams.html

Hey My Loves: Just Blogging

Heyyyy Makeup Lovers!!!!
Sorry for the delay in my blogs lately, I haven’t had much time to sit and write about one of my favorite’s things. When I do have time to sit with my laptop I end up looking at wedding stuff. The other day I stated writing my review on one of the CC Creams I been trying and I somehow ended up on Pinterest looking at wedding flowers.
Speaking of weddings I got a last minute makeup job to do on one of my good friends Ally and her best friend Dawn for a wedding they were going too yesterday. Sense the wedding was at night I give them both looks that had glam and party feel to it. I did a fun purple look on ally and a bronze look with a hint of gold on Dawn. Both of the looks had some shimmer to it. Doing makeup for any special event is so fun and excited for me. I hope they like they looks and had an awesome time at their friend’s wedding. They both look beautiful!
Maybe I should go back doing some wedding looks for you girls sense my head is up in the clouds lately. Also summer is almost over so I can go back to my crazy fun looks again.
Let me know if you want to learn how to do a certain makeup look by leaving me a comment.
Have a good day or night

Makeup Looks of the day: Simple but glam

Heyyyy Makeup Lovers!!!
I hope you all had a fun filled weekend. I still had a great weekend even if I had to do this thing called work. I feel like on the weekends I work they is always a party or something for me to go to after and don’t have too much time to do a sexy eye or full face of makeup. I love makeup but hate the fact that time is always creeping up on me. That is why I made two fun and bold looks that takes no time at all. Sense it is still hot I didn’t used any face makeup but if you feel like you need something then BB Cream, CC Cream, or a Tinted Moisturizer will be perfect for these looks because I feel like those three products blend into your skin way faster than a Foundation These Simple but glam makeup looks are for those girls who don't have time to do any fancy Smokey eyes but want something that looks just as sexy but with less work.
These two looks were inspired by the summer days. I hope you these look inspire you to get creative with makeup too, even if you have less then an hour to get ready! The first one I made was when I was getting ready for a bonfire that my brother was having at his house on Saturday night.

Here is what I did to achieve this simple but bold look!
I took my NYX Jumbo Pencil in Milk and applied it all over my lids and under my lower lash line.
This will help make the orange eye shadow pop more.
I applied an orange eye shadow on my lids with a flat eye shadow brush.
TO get rid of any harsh lines I blended back and forth by using my blending brush.
I took a yellow eye shadow with shimmer in it and applied it to my tear ducts by using an eye liner brush
I took a lighter orange color with shimmer and applied under my lower lash line with the same eye liner brush.
For my brow bone I used a matte white eye shadow to add a nice highlight.
For the lips I just mix a few lip glosses together to get a pretty light orange lip but you can just use a nude or clear lip gloss if you want. I just love making my own lip colors.
See how simple that one was.

I didn't take a good picture of my eye makeup but its all good because you can see how glam I look with just a bright pink lip color.
Sometimes all you need is a little bit of eye shadow and just a bright lip color that is best for your skin tone.
I think red and pink are the best lip colors for this simple but glam look!
For my eyes I used a bronze shimmer powder for my eye lids and a gold eye shadow for my tear ducts.
I just added more gold under my lash lines and a matte white on my brow bone and that was pretty much it for the eyes expect for the eyeliner and mascara. I forgot to put that step in the first look, but you girls know that I always used those two makeup products with all my looks.
For the bright pink lips I used Urban Decay Revolution Lipstick in Anarchy!
I love this color!!!!!!
That is it for my makeup looks of the day.
Sorry for the naked face but no worries, it will be fall soon and I can have my face back.
What is your go to makeup product when you are in a hurry? Eyeliner? lipstick?
Have a good day or night.
Much love from your crazy makeup lover.

Urban Decay Sale!!!!

Heyyyyyy Makeup Lovers!!!!
I am here with another awesome sale that is going on urbandecay.com!!! They always have a sale on their website but they just added a few great things that I feel are worth buying. Urban Decay always has a sale section on their website for products that are being discounted or are turn into a vintage product.
What are vintage products?
Vintage Products are the best sellers that were a favorite among bloggers, you tubers, makeup artist, and just people who love makeup but Urban Decay improve the makeup formula of the product and added new colors. They are just trying to get rid of the ones with the old formulas.
I love when they do this because that means I get to have the old ones for less money!!!! Yay!!!
I love love love Urban Decay but I hate their price tags. I never understand why their makeup has to cost more than my shoes, but no worries because I always got they sale to look forward too.
I am only going to list the sale items that I think are worth getting!
Vintage 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencils

$19.00 $6.00 each
There are 12 shades
These pencils will stay on your lash line forever in a day if you never wash my face. Eww
You get my point.
The only problem is that they don't stay on the water line for too long.
Feminine Dangerous Fun Palettes

$36.00$16.00
I was beginning to think that these cute palettes were never going to be on sale!
I remember when I kept going to the store just see the color of the eye shadows. Urban Decay makes really bight, beautiful, and bold eye shadows.
After Glow Glide-On Cheek Tint

$24.00 $5.00

Makeup Look of the Day: Party Rock Eyes!

Heyy Makeup Lovers!
I haven't done a makeup look of the day for a while now so I thought it would be fun to make a look that has a lot of drama to it. I also wanted to do something different with my eyes, Instead of going dramatic with the eyeliner I thought it would be kind of fun to go dramatic with the tear ducts. This look is not for everyone and its not an everyday kind of look. This look is for the girls who just want to have fun with their makeup and it is most likely a night time kind of look. For me it’s just one of my creations that I wear around the house. I don't try new looks right before going out, I try them out first just to see if I like it or not.
I am not going to write how I did this look because I think I will just confuse you girls to death but if you really want to know how I did this party rock look, just leave me a comment. I will do a makeup tutorial for you girls.
This is just show and tell.
Here's what I used in this look, a gray eye shadow as the base color and then I went crazy with this green blue eye shadow for the crease. I used a lot of the shimmery white eye shadow for my tear ducts.
Before I forget for some reason I just couldn't take a good picture yesterday, sorry if I look like I want to kill you in these pictures. haha

What do you girls think of this look? Love it? Or hate it?
Have a good day or night.
Much love from your crazy makeup lover!
