Makeup Look of the Night: Metallic Eyes inspired by pixiwoo

Helloooo Makeup Lovers!!!!
I fell in love with a look that one of the girls did from the channel Pixiwoo on YouTube that I watch a few weeks ago but I just didn't have the time or a night out for it. Now her makeup look looks way better than mine but that because she is a professional makeup artist in the UK and I'm just a girl who does makeup on other people when they get married. She has been doing makeup for over ten years and I have only done it for 2 or 3 years and also keep in mind that this is an inspired look so it's not going to look exactly the same. I like to make inspired looks into my own and I have different products then she does. I love recreating looks from Pixiwoo they make the most awesomeness looks then anyone could think of. I will post her YouTube video down below so you can see her awesome makeup look that Inspired me to do it.
This is such a beautiful look that will make any eye color sparkle more than ever!
If you want to know how to do this fun sexy Metallic Eye then please read on.

Metallic Eyes inspired by Pixiwoo
For the eyes:
I applied Urban Decay Anti-Aging Eye shadow Primer Potion All over the lids and up to the brow bones.
I then applied Mally Evercolor Starlight Waterproof Liner in Starshine which is a sliver color pencil onto the tear ducts and out into the inner corners of the eyes stopping halfway of the lids and I also continue to applied this color underneath my lower lash lines halfway near the inner corner of my eyes.
For the other half of my eyelids I applied Elizabeth Mott Smooth Shadow Pencil in Penny which is a pretty metallic copper color. I also applied this color underneath my lower lash near the outer corner of my eyes.
I went up to the crease with both of these colors.
Now these pencil work and look really awesome on their own but if you are going out to someplace with dim lights then I would add eye shadow on top of these colors but for a day time look I would just leave them as is with some eyeliner and Mascara.
I added Urban Decay eye shadow in shellshock onto the sliver side and then I mix a few copper and gold colors and applied them onto the copper side to make my look stand out more.
For a pop of gold I applied Urban Decay eye shadow in Strike onto the center of my lids and I also applied it in the middle of the silver and copper color underneath my lower lash lines.
I then added Estee Lauder bronzer in Bronze Goddess into my crease.
For a nice matte highlight I applied the color Strange from my Urban Decay Naked3 palette onto my brow bones.
I used Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil in Crave which is a matte brown-black color onto my top lash line and waterline.
For the lashes I applied Maybelline the Falsies Volume Express Mascara.
For the face:
For the life of me I can’t remember what I used for a blush that day. I think I just used a light pink blush from my Coastal Scents blush palette. I think!
I used Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess Bronzer on my temples, underneath my cheekbones and on my jawline. I then applied my favorite Highlighter powder onto my cheekbones for that nice glow. The highlighter powder I used is Mac Mineralize Skinfinish in Soft and Gentle that is baked and is a champagne color with hint of gold in it. This is my first and only Mac product I own and I am so in love with it.
For the lips
I mix nude and pink lip glosses to get that pretty pink nude lip color you see in the pictures.
I hope you like my Metallic Eyes inspired by Pixiwoo, I know I do!

Makeup Look of the Day: Bold Face and Soft Eyes

Hey Makeup Lovers!!!!

On Saturday I decided to do a spring type kind of look to add color to my white winter skin while I was being snow in again! I am really craving for that nice spring time weather so to fix that I created a bold face and soft eyes look that is perfect for any spring day, whenever it decides to show up that is.
Now I always feel like I have to say this but my looks always look way better in person than it does on camera but it true. The face may look like it is too heavy with makeup but it’s really not. The blush is just a really bight color, all you need is a small amount and you get a cheek full of a pretty watermelon pink color. The blush that I used for this look is City Color Be Matte Blush in Fresh Melon.
It you really like this pretty glowy bold face and soft eye makeup for your first spring day than please read on.
If you are going to use a bronzer and you are not tan on your neck like me then please put bronzer on your neck so it doesn’t look funny. I forgot to do that as you can see in the pictures. I was trying to hurry up because it was beginning to snow really heavy and I needed to get to the store before the roads got really bad.
Believe me it makes a big difference when you add bronzer to your neck.
Bold Face and Soft Eyes
For the Face:
Before anything I added primer all over my face and before I added any foundation I added a really light concealer underneath my eyes to add some brightness. I did do a little contouring too but I am not going to confuse you girls with all that in this post but I will be posting about it sometime next week. I only did a little; I’m not really into contouring that much as some girls are. I just like my face the way it is really. I only did it this time to help make my cheeks to look a little bit bolder.
After I applied my foundation and face powder all over my face I added bronzer to my temples, under my cheek bones, and on my jaw line.
Then I added a really bright watermelon pink color to the apple of my cheek for that nice bold bright color.
For that nice dewy glow I applied a champagne highlighter powder with a hint of gold on top of my cheek bones, forehead and on my brow bone.
For the eyes:
I only wanted my face and lips to stand out with this look so I did a really easy nude eye look.
After I applied a concealer all over my lids I used a concealer that was a few shades darker than my skin color and applied it into my crease with a blending brush. To set the colors I used a face power for the light and bronzer for the dark colors to prevent any creasing.
To keep the nude going I applied a light matte nude eye shadow onto the lids and then added the highlighter power I used for my face and brow bone onto my tear ducts to brighten my eyes a little.
Then I took a medium matte brown eye shadow with an eyeliner brush and applied it onto my upper lash line. I used an eye shadow instead of a pencil because eye shadows add a softer look then a pencil would.
I did use black eyeliner for my waterline but a brown or nude eyeliner would look way better with this look. I just couldn’t find any of my brown eyeliners and I have about three of them. Go figure.
To finish off with the eyes I apply lots and lots of mascara.
For the lips:
To keep the bright bold pink going I used a Coral lip crayon that almost looks like the same color on my cheeks. I thought these two colors are prefect together.
That’s my bold face and soft eyes look.
What do you think of this look? Love it? Hate it?

Have a good day or night!

2014 Color of the Year: Radiant Orchid!

Heyyy Makeup Lovers!!!
I can’t believe it’s that time of year again, it felt like I just wrote about the color of the year like last week never mind last year! Was it me or did the year fly by in 2013 and didn’t get to have that much time with the color. It’s all good with me because this year color is my kind of color since I have about three or four lipsticks in this color. Radiant Orchid has been my color for years and pretty much always will be. You can’t go wrong with soft or bright bold pinks and purples. I feel like these colors just add such a nice girly vibe to the face. This is the kind of color that looks great on all areas of the face well not all at once now you don’t want to look like someone from the movie Hunger Games. Well maybe some of you do lol. I believe that this is going to be a good and happy year because colors like pink and purples to me are happy colors. They just brighten my day up when I wear them in my clothes or in my makeup. This is going to be a fun makeup look for me to create which will be up sometime in the next two weeks. I’m so happy to have all the products already for this year’s look, but who doesn’t have at least one piece of pink or purple makeup. There’s really no need to go out to Sephora and buy their new line of the color of the year makeup for over $20, yea sure it’s pretty but so aren’t the makeup in the drug stores and they are just as good. Even eyeslipsface.com has a pretty lipstick in this year color for $3.00 which I already have and love. I’m not saying it’s bad to spend that much money on their products I’m just saying there are better and cheaper ways to get the color and you may already have it. I can’t tell you how many times I have brought a lip gloss or lipstick in the same color but just in a different brand, it’s funny really.
What do you girls think of 2014 Color of the Year?
Not sure what color I am really talking about well here are a few products to help you see what the really is.

My Favorite Go-To Product of the Season!

Heyyy Makeup Lovers!!!
Today was supposed to be my blogging day but I got so busy that I am just going to do a quick post for you girls sense it is about 8:30 at night. I think you girls are going to love me even more now because this product that I'm going to write about is going to save your lips from this nasty cold weather that we have been dealing with for far too long now.
I don't know about you but my number one thing that I hate more than dry skin is dry lips! I just can't deal with them and I get really dry lips all the time and I have jump from lip product to lip product and I never could seem to find a really good chap stick or lip balm for me. I mean don't get me wrong I have tried some good ones but my lips never really felt like they were moisturize enough until I got (MALIN+GOETZ) Mojito lip balm from Myglam last month. This is not a chap stick or a lip balm, it is a lip gel that helps treat and prevent dry and irritated lips. When I apply this stuff to my dry lips in the morning before I go to work it feels like I am pouring water all over them and it just washes the dryness away. No longer do I get a cut in the middle of my lips when I smile after one of my overused lip balms dries out on me. This lip gel has last me up to five hours of moisture without reapplying and all you need is one little dot of it to cover your lips. Another thing I love about this lip gel is that it is not to minty, it just has a little hint of mint just like a mojito would. It stays true to its name! You know how you get some lip products that are over power with a mint scent and some of them feel like it burns your lips instead of moisturizing them, I hate that. No worries because this one soothes lips not burn them off your face. That’s an A+ in my book!

To get this much needed lip product for about $12.00 head on over to http://www.malinandgoetz.com/face/mojito-lip-balm to get one or two of this awesomeness.
Believe me it is worth the $12.00.
I hope you have a warm good day or night!
Much love from your crazy makeup lover.

Makeup Anyone?

Hey Makeup Lovers!!!

The other day I decided to buy a storage bin from Walmart to help me pack up my makeup for when I do move into my new home once I find it. I am packing up half of my makeup now because the truth is having a lot of makeup drives me nuts half the time, there is such of thing having too much of a good thing. I mean I love trying out all kinds of new products but when you have days that you have to do your makeup in less then a half of an hour it’s tough to do when you have to dig through all of your makeup to find the products you want to use that day. I was going to buy something to help me organize all of my makeup to help me get ready faster but I deiced not to since I might be moving soon so that's why I got a big sorage box to help me put away some of my makeup so I don’t go crazy. It's funny because I didn't realize I had so much makeup until I organized most it into two groups. The first picture is the makeup I don’t really use that much and the second picture is the makeup I do use all the time. In the first picture you may not realize how much makeup is in those cases. I have to tell you all those cases are filled with makeup! Even though I have a lot of makeup I don't use, I do have a lot of makeup I do use as you can see in the second picture. The thing with me is I like to use palettes more than makeup that is on its own. I just like to have everything in front of me. Most days I will have at least two or three eye shadows palettes out so I can figure out what kind of look I wanted to do that day. I know some of you girls are wondering why would anyone buy this much makeup but to tell you the truth I don't. About half of my makeup is gifts from my love ones and most of it is from my glam bag that I get about four or five beauty products a month. The only makeup I really buy is my face makeup and the makeup for my kit that I used on other people not on my safe. When you are a beauty blogger like me, makeup adds up by a lot! One day I started out with one little bag of makeup and then all of a sudden it turns into cases and cases of makeup that needed a big storage box to place it all. I didn’t realize how much makeup I had until I was swimming in it. I know no one needs this much makeup but it just happen. The sad thing about this is that I have seen girls on YouTube with like a desk full of makeup and that is way more than I could ever afford but then again I am glad I don't have that much because I do not have the space to put it right now or probably ever. If I ever did become one of those girls that did get that much makeup due to makeup companies giving it to them for free I would most likely give a lot of it to my love ones and to you girls in a giveaway because there is no need to have that much makeup.
Anyways the reason why I am writing a post about me packing up my makeup because I wanted to show you a before shot of my makeup being pack up and having no home to go to right now, but when I do find a place and a new home for my makeup I want to do a after shot of it being organized. I thought it would be really fun and helpful for girls that are going through the same thing I am going though.
I hope you like my random and helpful post!
Have a good day or night!
Much lover from your crazy makeup lover!
