Makeup Looks Of the Days: Loving the Blues and Enchanting Summer Eyes!

Heyyyyy Makeup Lovers!!!!
I have Two Makeup Looks that I been wanting to post all weekend, but I ended up working 24hrs this weekend. No lie, I really worked 24 hrs in two days and I still went to the gym today lol. Let me tell you I was not really feeling the whole gym thing today but I went anyways because bathing suit season is almost here!
Anyways let’s get on with my two awesome makeup looks!!
Loving the Blues:
I did this look right before I cut off my hair.

I used green blue shimmer eye shadows from the inner corner of my eyes up to the middle off the eyes and then I added a nice dark blue to the outer corner of the eyes.
I believe I put a very light shimmer green color on my tear ducts and then I went under the lower lash lines with the same color but I stop in the middle of the lower lash lines and then continue with the dark blue.
For the brow bone I just added a matte eye shadow that was almost the same skin tone as my skin.
I love wearing blue eye shadows even if it can be hard to work with blue eye shadows, because it is very easy to look like meme from the drew carey show.


Sorry for my awful eyebrows, I ended up fixing them after I took these pictures. I just don't think sometimes.


Enchanting Summer Eyes:

Just so you know I am wearing a tube top. lol




I love this quick and easy look. It’s also perfect for summer.
I applied a brown eye shadow into the crease and blend it out with my blending brush.
I took a wet flat eye shadow brush and dip it into my e.l.f. Studio Baked Eye shadow in Enchanted and added that to my whole eyelid. This is such a pretty color and it’s just perfect for summer!
Its summer in a pan.
I used a white shimmer eye shadow in my tear ducts and on my brow bone.
I then added a pop of shimmer orange under my lash lines.
That’s it for eye shadows.
All there is left to do is apply the black eyeliners and Mascara.

A Whole Lot of Locks!

Heyy Makeup Lovers!!!
Yesterday I cut 10 inches off my hair to donate to Locks of Love! It was almost a two hour hair cut but it was all worth it. My hair was soo thick that it bent my hairdresser scissors like three times!!! Opps
It's all good because maybe they can make at least two wigs out of it. That would be so awesome.
If you girls have long hair and thinking about giving your hair away, then just do it, because it’s such a great thing to do for a kid who need an awesome wig. :) On the bright side you will get a new hair style that you might fall in love with.
If you end up not liking your hair being short, don't worry. It will grow back.
It's funny how I still have a lot of hair left even after getting it thin out, but it does fell so much lighter now.

Pulling a Britney Spears!!!

Sense summer is around the corner I thought it would be a perfect time to pull a Britney Spears.

I think I would look pretty cute being bald. What do you think?

oo I'm just kidding, I am cutting off 10 inches of my hair tomorrow so I can give it away to Locks of Love. :)
If you girls haven’t notice in my pictures I have really thick curly hair that I have no control over, but I do love it even if it does give me a hard time in the morning.
People always tell me how they wish they had my hair and how beautiful it is.
Having thick and crazy hair is not easy to take care of but it is a blessing to have and I feel that my hair would make someone really happy because they went from having nothing to having more hair then a lion’s mane.
Someone ask if I was nervous about doing this and no I am not, because my hair is like a chia pet. It’s going to grow back, and who knows maybe I will find a new hair style that I will fall in love with.
Have any of you ever given your hair away? If yes, would you do it again?

Reasons Why I Love ELF So MUCH!

Four years ago I forgot my makeup bag full of drug store makeup in my gyms locker room and never saw it again. I knew it would of cost too much money for me to replace every single piece of makeup I did own and most of the makeup was my Christmas gifts that I got from my best friend and my mom. To save money I just got the two things I just can’t live without. It was mascara and black eyeliner. Yes I went without face makeup for months until I pull a muscle in my lower back when I was running on the treadmill and I had to take three weeks off from my job and from everything else I did. It was not fun at all!!
Sense I couldn't move I spent most of my time watching TV or on the computer. One day I really wanted to shop for makeup becuase I really miss creating looks and all. I had an eyelash curler that was only a dollar at target that said EYES LIPS FACE on it and I thought maybe it might have a web site that sells beauty tools or makeup. I googled it and I found an awesome website that had a whole line of makeup for only a dollar. That day I got 40 things for $40 and signed up for their emails to get awesome deals like 50% off, ten free eye shadows, get three palettes of eye shadows for $25 and so on. ELF is the reason why I got back into makeup because I could afford to get a whole bunch of good quality makeup for half the price of high end and drug stores brands. I know it sounds crazy but I feel that some drug stores makeup is a little too pricey sometimes. There are brands that are between $10 and $20 at CVS, Target, and so on. Some brands, not all. If I am going to spend that much money on makeup I might as well go to Macys or Sephora.
ELF also helped me learn so much about how to use makeup and what it does ,they even introduced to the beauty world on YOUTUBE. At first I was like what is this and then I clicked something and somehow found all of these girls showing you how to put on makeup. I thought it was weird but then it turned out to be a great thing for me because it help me find my passion for makeup.
I have always worn and loved makeup but never like this, I went from a little bag of makeup to having a closet, makeup case, and bags full of makeup.
It’s funny how losing one bag of makeup turn out to be a fun adventure for me because if I have never lost that one bag of makeup and hurting my back I wouldn't be blogging today or ever maybe.
I know this sounds crazy but I'm glad I lost my makeup and hurt my back because right now I'm doing what I love, writing about makeup.
It's funny how this ended up being a story, becuase I was going to wirte about the best products ELF has. This whole story was surpose to be introduction haha. I have to wirte about ELF best porducts in my next post.

Makeup Look of the Day!: A Pop of Color

Heyyy Makeup Lovers!!
The other day I had no clue what I wanted to do with my eyes. At first I begin doing a smoky eye by using gray shimmer eyeliner as a base then I applied an eye shadow that was almost the same color. Before I got to my inner corner of the eye I stop and added on an orange eye shadow with a hint of red in it. At first I wasn't sure if I like it until I blend the two colors together and TA-DA!!! It turn out to be such a great look for any eye color, because you can use any combo of colors to make your eyes pop. Like if you have blue eyes like me, you can use bronze or gold on the outer corner than just add pinks or any warm colors like orange to add that pop of color. For greens eyes you can used greens, purples, plums, and pink eye shadows with gray or black colors. There is just so many great ways to make this look work. Just add a dark color to the outer corner of the eyes and then a bright color to the inner corner of the eyes.
It’s fun and simple. :)
I'm sorry I don't have the best of pictures to show off this look because I was on my way out of the door when I took these pictures and didn't take a look at them until today. No worries, I will be filming this look today or tomorrow if the sun is out. I hope so.

Eye Candy!!

Heyyyyy Makeup Lovers!
About a month ago Stile’s new eye shadow collection for the summer season came out and it looks like happiness in a little pan. The Festival of color collection is ten pans of creative works of art that was inspired by everything you would see in the summer! The First-to-market formula are hand made using a proprietary pressing and baking process. I would already have of all ten of these beautiful eye shadows if they were about $5 or $10 instead of $22 each because I have been drooling over them for weeks! haha. I also have been trying not to buy any makeup lately because I have a closet, a makeup bag, and case full of makeup.
But.....
I got a 20% off for signing up on a Stila newsletter and one of these eye shadows need a home, so I must adopt one. :)
I know these eye shadows are supposed to remind us of summer but to me they remind me of candy.

Makeup Look of the Day: Spring with a Hint of Summer!

Heyyy!! Makeup Lovers!!!!!
It’s my favorite time of the month again!!!! Its glam bag time!!!! And I made an awesome look using two of the products from my glam bag!


For this fun spring going into summer look I used pinks, purples, orange, and a pop of yellow! I also added a light pink shimmer to the look by using MICA Beauty Cosmetics Shimmer Powder in Earth that I got in this month’s glam bag.
I also did a pop of PINK on my cheeks by using Be A Bombshell Cosmetics in Sweet Cheeks that I also got in my glam bag. When I mean pink I mean like holy crap that’s pink haha. I didn’t realize how pigment this blush was until I applied this on my face and had the pinkest cheeks I have ever seen, but no worries this stuff blends really well. Thank God!
It’s pretty and I love the color but I would not wear this during the day that’s for sure.
Sense I had so much color going on I just did a nude pink for the lips.

I am soo happy to have this video up finally, there was just way to much to edit this time. I hope you girls don’t get mad that the video is 22 minutes long because it was almost two hours long! But I am going to have to make a blooper video because the stuff we talk about was pretty funny and I believe it is always good to laugh no matter what! But I did leave some funny stuff in the video just not all of it, because I know for a fact that no one is going to be like “I would love to watch this girl apply makeup on her friend for two hours”. YEA RIGHT!

Makeup Looks of the Past! What?

Heyyyy Makeup Lovers!!!
I am staying in on a Saturday night to get some blogging in and I also need to save money so I thought this would be the perfect time to blog since I’ve been busy all week with work and other stuff. I wasn't really going to do a blog post; I was just going to work on editing my Boston Bruins makeup video that I did on my really awesome friend Ally. The thing is my laptop is taking forever and a day to upload my video onto Movie maker. It’s all good because I found two makeup looks that I never really had the chance to post, one of them is the makeup look I did for Christmas. I made a video of it and everything, but I ended up working so much around Christmas time that I just didn't have a chance to edit the video. I actually didn't even have time to wrap my Christmas presents that I got for my love ones until Christmas Eve. Hahaha. Opps!
The other makeup look of the day is when I was trying to do a sexy gold red carpet kind of look for my Valentine's Day date night, but it ended up looking like the colors of the Boston Bruins. lol. I thought it looked awful until the next day when Ally texted me about how I should do Sports theme make up looks. That’s when I knew my awful date night look would be perfect for the Boston Bruins makeup Look!
